Refund Policy

At Orange Farm Stay, we strive to offer a fair and flexible booking and refund experience, while ensuring smooth operations and preparation for every guest. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled when you book a stay, day visit or event with us.

1. General Policy

All bookings at The Orange Farm Stay are made on a first-come, first-served basis and require advance confirmation through partial or full payment. Our team puts effort into preparing your stay or event in advance, which is why we maintain a structured refund policy.

2. Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellations Made More Than 7 Days Before the Visit

  • A partial refund (up to 50%) will be processed.

  • The non-refundable amount covers administrative and booking preparation charges.

Cancellations Made Within 3 to 7 Days of the Visit

  • A 30% refund may be issued.

  • The rest is retained to cover advance arrangements, staff bookings, and lost availability.

Cancellations Within 72 Hours of Visit or No-Show

  • No refund will be provided.

  • You may request to reschedule the visit (subject to availability and management approval).

3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Orange Farm Stay 

In rare cases, if we must cancel or reschedule your booking due to unforeseen reasons such as:

  • Severe weather

  • Government restrictions

  • Farm maintenance or technical failure

We will:​

  • Allow you to reschedule without penalty (valid for 3 months from the original booking date)

4. Rescheduling Policy

  • One-time rescheduling is allowed if you notify us at least 72 hours before your booking date.

  • Rescheduled bookings must fall within 3 months of the original date.

  • Rescheduling is subject to slot availability and seasonal pricing differences, if any.

5. Event Bookings

Due to the nature of event planning and décor/logistics:

  • A non-refundable advance (generally 30–50%) is required.

  • If the event is cancelled less than 10 days in advance, no refund is issued.

  • For cancellations with more than 10 days' notice, up to 50% of the total amount may be refunded (excluding the advance).

6. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds, if approved, will be credited within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

  • Refunds are issued through the same method of payment (e.g., UPI, bank transfer).

  • You’ll receive a confirmation message or email once your refund has been initiated.

7. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be applicable under the following situations:

  • Guests failing to show up on the booking date without prior notice

  • Reduced number of guests arriving without prior update (adjustment not guaranteed)

  • Early check-outs due to weather, personal reasons, or schedule changes

  • Damage caused to the property or violation of house rules
